Comments:
UNDAF time frame originally covers 2003-2005 period. Harmonization of programme cycles of UNDP, UNICEF, and UNFPA for 2003-2005. UNDAF completed and endorsed in May 2002. Conceived within the context of the MDGs, as deemed appropriate to Timor-Leste's National Development Goals.
However, Executive Boards granted an extension of the UNDAF for 2 years, given the unsable situation in the country and the recent crisis. New Country programmes and UNDAF to cover the period starting in 2009-2013.
